Discover the power of movement, presence, and storytelling — on stage and within yourself.
We are excited to offer students a rare opportunity to participate in a special Lecoq-based theatre workshop taught by Sean Curran, co-artistic director of Theatre du Pif and former student of the legendary Jacques Lecoq in Paris.
About the Workshop
This workshop introduces participants to the foundations of Lecoq pedagogy, exploring how movement and the body can inspire theatrical creation. Students will investigate key principles of Lecoq-based work and examine the connection between the Feldenkrais Method and Lecoq’s neutral mask — a mask that embodies calm, grounding, balance, and readiness. Jacques Lecoq, one of the most influential theatre teachers of the 20th century, placed the neutral mask at the heart of his training, shaping generations of performers and creators.
Venue: Fu Zung Centre, Shaw College
Level: Open to all levels (Actors, dancers, performers, public speakers, and anyone interested in embodied awareness). No prior experience necessary.

About the Performance: Faith Healer
Participants will also attend Theatre du Pif’s production of Faith Healer, Brian Friel’s haunting and spellbinding masterpiece. The play follows Frank, his wife Grace, and his manager Teddy, each recounting their shared past through fractured, contradictory memories. Theatre du Pif brings its signature physical and emotional intensity to this profound meditation on art, faith, and the stories we cling to in order to survive.
Venue: Hong Kong Fringe Club, Central
A single package to attend BOTH the workshop AND the performance!
Other Students: $170 (non-refundable)
#This activity is included as a "Diversified General Education Activity". Attending on time and completing both the workshop and the performance will be equivalent to attending one College Assembly in Term 2, 2025/26.
Don’t miss this chance to train with a master practitioner and experience world-class theatre.
