🎨Thirty-Six Views of the Chengde Summer Resort is the first set of copperplate prints produced in China, and the first to present with such delicacy the beauty of Chinese landscape gardens through printmaking. ✨ Inspired by this masterpiece, this printmaking experience invites participants to explore the art of carving and printing 🖌️, and to create a garden landscape of their own on a notebook 📖.
🖼️ This workshop is directly related to the current exhibition, "The Qianlong Emperor: A Legacy in Art, The Huaihaitang Collection." Participants will gain a deeper understanding of traditional Chinese printmaking 🎨, discover the fascinating stories behind the exhibition 📜, and enjoy a unique hands-on cultural experience 🤲✨.
